Loutro
The only access to this small seaside village is by boat or on foot! Loutro is located on the south coast of Chania. It is a place for those who want to witness the authentic Crete, away from the commercial north coast.
It's not spoilt by the mass tourism yet, there are no big hotels, no crowded streets and no cars! Here you can relax and spend time just sitting at one of the seaside tavernas or enjoy nature.
Beaches like Fenix, Sweet Water and Marmara beach can be reached on foot or by boat and the unspoilt countryside can be a walker's paradise.
