Chania City

Sights of Chania that are not to be missed: Splanzia or Plaza quarter which was the Turkish quarter. The impressive municipal market in the town centre, the Kioutsouk Hassan mosque at the harbour, the light house, the great shipyard, the Franciscan monastery of St. Francis which now houses the archaeological museum and the fort Firca which now houses the naval museum of Chania.
