Sougia
The village of Sougia is located 70klm southwest of Chania on the southern coast of Crete. It's part of the Sougia district, which comprises three more little villages, Koutsogerako, Livadas and Moni.
Sougia's ancient name was Syia and it was the harbour town of Elyros. If you enjoy walking in the scenic unspoiled mountain countryside, Sougia is the ideal place for you.
